Who I Am

I am an experienced, professional freelance Greek translator. I translate between English and Greek and I specialize in IT, manuals (computer, software, home appliances, technical), software and webpage localization.

My translation degree is an MSc in Scientific, Techinical and Medical Translation with Translation Technology, Imperial College, UK. I also have a BSc Honours (First Class) in Computer Science from the University of Cardiff, UK.

Some of the work I have carried out in the past year includes:

• IT related manuals  (projectors, monitors, software, printers, etc)
• Software localization (well-known antivirus/firewall suite, help files, drivers)
• Home appliance manuals (DVD players, air conditioners, TVs, stereos, etc)
• Food/beverage database with over 400,000 words

I am proficient in the use of the following CAT tools:

• Trados 7
• Multiterm 7
• DejaVu X
